Oh winter. I love you and I hate you. Here's how I survive the cold winters in Toronto.
I love the clothes you can wear when it's colder out: pants, wool socks, big sweaters. Layer me up! I always spend all my clothes money during the snowy times (retail therapy!) and then am sad when I'm penniless for fun spring fashion like skirts and sandals. Owning this big sweater though would totally brighten a gloomy winter day.
This winter I want to not only wear as many clothes as possible but I also want to cover my walls in textiles too. I am itching to get my hands on a new tapestry for my apartment. My walls are sooo cold. These two woven wonders would wow my walls (say that ten times fast-ha). Top: Hannah Waldron, Bottom: Rinn Textiles
When it's cold out I also get the knee jerk reaction to fill my house with plants. I need green things!! Sadly, I am a terrible gardener so my place has mostly cactii and succulents. I am running out of surfaces for pots though so these wall hanging Woolly Pocket planters would be a welcome addition to my growing indoor jungle.
I also survive winter with some good ol' escapism and try to dream of beach times. In these dreams I am wearing this swim suit. And building sandcastles. And drinking cold beer.
I feel like the best way to get through winter though is to stop crying about it (like this Miju Lee Pillow) and embrace winter things. Build snow men! Drink soup! Go skating! We're almost there guys- only one month more to go. If you need me though I'll be under lots of blankets on my couch watching comfort tv ;)

Loved your blog!!!
